Bayou Beach Regatta

The Bayou Park Regatta is an annual tradition rooted in having fun at the beach.  

Come at 12 noon for a hot dog, snacks, drinks, or dessert, and stay to participate in Kayak Races, Canoe Races, Balance Displays, Carboard Boat races, and more.

This is a "Weather Permitting" event, so in the event of inclement weather we'll be cancelling.  Fingers crossed for sunshine!

WHAT TO DO:

• Adult Canoe/Kayak races

• Youth Canoe/Kayak races

• Kids Canoe/Kayak races

• SUP Board Balance competition

• Kids Carboard Boat Races!

• Kids Pirate Treasure hunt and Castle building competition

WHAT TO BRING:

• If you own a canoe or kayak, please bring it down or paddle down to our beach.

• If you have extra kids life jackets, bring an extra

• Cardboard Boats must be made

  In Advance

  and brought down to the beach.  There are no materials for construction provided.

• Cardboard Boats have no restrictions on size or materials or occupancy OTHER than they must be built with cardboard.

• Lawn chairs, shade tents, etc are all welcome-- the party will be right down at the sand!

• Sunscreen, towels, reuseable water bottles, coolers, as needed
