Can you help clean up our Beach Park on Saturday, October 22nd? The work begins at 10 am and goes until we are done!
If so, please bring your rake down to the Beach Park and lend a hand to President Claire Lysnes & the other members of the Executive Board. Coffee & hot chocolate will be provided.
Tasks that we need to do to prepare for winter include:
-Raking the sand beach -Moving/putting away picnic tables & benches -Raking any fallen leaves & weeding of flowers (we also welcome anyone who would like to use their lawn mower to mulch leaves!) -Putting away kids' play equipment -Picking up brush and fallen branches
-Taking down the flag for the season and cleaning up the bulletin board -General tidying and clean up
-Lawn mowing if necessary
This year we are also going to be hanging our new outdoor LED string lights in order to bring some ambiance to our Fall events! If anyone can bring a tall ladder down, it would be very helpful!
As always, we appreciate everyone in the neighbourhood who regularly helps out by mowing the lawn and tidying up each season!
