Thank you everyone for your support, participation, and contributions to the 2022 BPRA Family Fun Day & BBQ on Saturday, August 20th. We are happy to report that the BPRA raised $4,896.87! The BPRA will be using the proceeds to shore up the Association's financial reserve as well as make some improvements to the beach property and shed.
The event was a huge success and so many people were happy to see one another in person. Brunch and the Pig Roast BBQ earned rave reviews, the Bake Sale was a hit, the kids had fun with the Bouncy Castle and Severn Firetruck visit, and the Fireworks Spectacular sponsored by Bayou Recreation and designed by Past President Lance Brown was epic! New this year was "Ringsy", member Jamie Colledan of MJM Mechanical's awesome new Ross Toss game which is sure to become an annual favourite. Guest Coral Faria was the winner this year.
Member Maureen Mahoney was the Advance Ticket Sale Draw winner and members Bernie Robertson and Natasha Ilic were the winners of the Volunteer Draw! Gloria McParland was the winner of the $250 cash prize from Four Seasons Canvas & Design. Lucky member Steve Orlowski won a number of prizes, including the 50/50 draw. Steve got to take home $260 dollars! The Horseshoe Tournament champions were the team of Christopher Evans, Andrew Kinnear, and Jonathan Robbins. They are looking for a strong team to challenge them for the number one spot next year. Congratulations to all of our winners!
