2nd ANNUAL PUMPKIN WALK


WHERE: Bayou Park Beach

WHEN: Saturday, October 30th, 2021 6 pm-7:30 pm


WHAT: Please drop off your carved jack o' lantern near the flag pole at Bayou Park Beach prior to 5:30 pm on Saturday, October 30th.


Return with your family to the Bayou Park Beach between 6-7:30 pm to see a Halloween spectacle of glowing neighbourhood pumpkins. Kids are welcome to wear their costumes to parade past the pumpkins.


Don't forget to come back between 7:30 - 8 pm to pick up your jack o' lantern to display at your house for Halloween!


Pre-made goodie bags for all ages will be available if you wish to take a treat home (courtesy of the BPRA). We will also be collecting canned food donations for the Orillia "Sharing Place" Food Bank.


Don’t feel like walking? Drive by the park and take in the sight!


If you are unable to join us, don't worry - we'll share pictures on our website, social media, and in our next newsletter.


PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST ALERT!

Feeling artistic? BPRA members can submit their pumpkin walk jack o’ lantern for judging! Prizes to be announced, judges are members of the BPRA Executive.

TO ENTER: Please take a photo of your jack o’ lantern once you have placed it down at the park on October 30th. Email that photo to: info@bayoupark.org along with your name and address and wait to see if you're a winner! 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners will be contacted by email & featured in our next BPRA Newsletter.


NEED A PUMPKIN TO CARVE?

The BPRA has 20 pumpkins to give to BPRA members to carve for Halloween at home, then show it off at our Pumpkin Walk on October 30th. We will deliver the pumpkin directly to your house on Saturday, October 23rd. Please email info@bayoupark.org by Thursday, October 21st at 1PM with your name and address to request one!
