BPRA Membership Fee Campaign Discussion

Target number of households:
176 households (80%)
2021 fee:
Fee has been $25 from 1972 to date (11 homes have already paid for 2021).
Motion to raise the fee to $35 after July 1 and keep an early bird fee of $25 if paid before July 1: Claire Lysnes. Neil Fenton second the motion. All in favour.
Group decided to implement an early bird fee of the standard $25 paid before July 1st. Fee will increase to $35 annually as of July 2nd.
Early Bird Draw
An early bird prize will be available for houses that pay their membership fee before July 1. Prize will be a $100 Home Depot gift card donated by member and local business person, Les Courts of Earth Electric.
Other donated items will be used towards a later fundraiser or incentive.
Payments:
Can be made by e-transfer, credit card via www.bayoupark.org, or cheques/cash can be dropped off at Claire or Rick’s houses or a BPRA member can pick up the cash or cheque from the members home.
Sending Receipts:
Bruce and Kait volunteered to help Claire issue receipts through Square.
Communications Plan:
General communications - monthly newsletter (May & June), Membership fee specific email (May 24 weekend)
Personalized email’s through square to outstanding ratepayers - June
Flyer drop off reminders to outstanding ratepayers
Last resort would be a door to door reminder for outstanding ratepayers after the Early Bird Deadline of July 1st.

Hillary: Bayou Rd, stop sign to Hwy
Rick: Westshore Cres & Bayou Rd after the bridge
